My background is in running and improving a real operating business, working across e-commerce, systems, data, processes, people and technology rather than within a single specialist silo.
For 14 years I ran a multi-channel e-commerce business while working directly with the technology and operational systems behind it. I've had to make decisions about platforms, integrations, reporting, automation and software while also living with the commercial and operational consequences of those decisions.
My experience includes Shopify Plus, Amazon, eBay, Etsy, wholesale, business systems, integrations, data, reporting and automation. That operator experience shapes how I approach websites and technology today: I start with the business problem rather than the software.
I believe improvement starts with measurement. Once we can see what is actually happening, we can understand it, challenge it and design something better.
